ADMISSIONS

ADMISSIONS

PRE SCHOOL, LKG, UKG

The admission into Pre School starts from Jan 15.

The Child should have completed 2 ½ years for Pre School, 3 years for LKG and 4 years for UKG by July 30th.

Admission is based on first come first – served basis. Application and prospectus for admission are available in the school office at a cost of Rs.250/-.

Results of admission are informed to the parents after 3 days by phone. The school re-opens in the first week of June. The School timing for Pre KG is 9.00 – 12.00 noon and LKG/UKG is from 9.00 a.m. till 3.00 p.m.

The fee payment is to be made on the date specified on the admission notice, failing which the seat will be offered to the next in the wait list.

The parents, both mother and father have to present themselves on the day of admission of the child.

The original birth certificate is to be shown to the Principal and an attested copy has to be submitted to be retained by the school. A photograph (passport size) of the child is also to be submitted.

While the child can be brought to school by any attender, the school would hand over the child only to the parents. In case the parents would like the child to be received by another person from the school, necessary forms have to be signed by the parents before hand.

Working parents who wish to keep the child in the care of the school after 12.30 p.m. have to file separate forms and an additional fee will be charged. This facility is available only for Pre KG.

ADMISSIONS

Std. I to Std. X

The admission into Std. I to Std. V starts from Jan 30. The child should complete 5 years by July 30th for Std. I and thereafter the age requirement for the subsequent standards is calculated accordingly.

Admission is based on timely submission of the application, giving full and complete particulars of the child, parents, previous class and schools.

Depending on the vacancy in the class, interview Call Letter will be sent to parents within 10 days after receiving the application for admission.

Atleast one of the parents and the child will have to meet the Principal on the advised date and time for the interview.

Results of admission will be put up on the school admission board and also informed to parents by phone. Parents can telephone and get the admission results after 3 working days.

The school fee is to be paid within ten days from the receipt of the admission letter, failing which the seat will be offered to the next child in the waiting list. Original birth certificate, transfer certificate and a photograph of the child are to be submitted to the School Office within 15 days of re-opening of school.

The school re-opens during the first week of June. A letter of intimation regarding the re-opening date will be sent to parents/children before April end. The school timing for Std I and Std II is 8.20a.m. to 3.30 p.m. for Std III to Std V is from 8.20 a.m. till 4.00 p.m.

The school offers extra curricular coaching by a variety of specialists in Brass Band, Yoga, Basket ball, Karate, Volley ball, Foot ball, Choir, Chess, Kho Kho and Dance. Children who wish to join regular coaching have to apply before June 30. The details/schedule are found in the Talent promotion application form.

Parents have the responsibility to bring the child to school on time and take back the child after school hours. In case the parents would like the child to be sent with another person from the school, necessary forms have to be signed by the parent in person before hand. Children from the neighbourhood who would like to walk back home without parents assistance, can do so provided the parents give the required declaration.

Admission for Std. VI to Std. X commences from Jan 30.

Prospectus and Application for admission are available at the office of the Bursar from 8.30a.m. till 4.30 p.m. daily.

The filled-in application for admission will have to be submitted along with copy of the birth certificate, copy of the progress card of the last term, two self addressed post cards and a passport size photograph of the student.

The interview may or may not include a written test for the student. The test is for 30 minutes for one or two subjects depending on the marks obtained as per the progress card. Recommendation letters for admission would disqualify the student.

Based on the availability of vacancy in the class, interview Call Letter will be sent to parents within 10 days after receiving the application for admission.

If the student is required to attend special classes, depending on the progress of marks obtained in each subject, in each term, the student has to give an undertaking for his/her regular attendance in the special classes conducted after and or before regular school hours.

Parents are required to come to school for monthly consultation with class teachers on the last Friday of every month at 3.00 p.m. to discuss the progress of the student.

ADMISSIONS

Std.XI to Std. XII

Admission for Plus one starts from the month of February. You could be provisionally admitted to the group according to your choice on paying admission fees within 10 working days after the declaration of results of 10th Std. examination.

Your Transfer Certificate, Community Certificate and Original mark-sheet, as proof of having passed 10th Std will have to be submitted to Green Valley to confirm your admission.

The group allocation will be based only on the marks obtained in the public examination. You may need 60% minimum marks for admission in any science group.


The groups offered for Std. XI and Std.XII in Green Valley are:

1. Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Computer Science.

2. Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

3. Commerce, Accountancy, Economics and Computer Science.

4. Commerce, Accountancy, Economics and Business Maths.

Students seeking plus 2 admission have to submit mark sheets of 10th Std. and Puls One, Community Certificate and Transfer Certificate along with the application for admission. Students from other districts/states should get the TCs Counter Signed by IMS.
